About the project
Ontario Christian Home Educators Connection (OCHEC) is the largest homeschool network in Ontario, and second largest in Canada. They had contacted Clarity initially to improve their website, but through our discovery we learned that their organization needed to be better positioned to meet the growing number of homeschooling families.
In addition, because of COVID-19 they were unable to host their annual homeschool convention, which was their primary source of revenue. They also were finding that many of their affiliated support groups needed more clarity about the OCHEC value offering outside of major events.
We put together a package to explore a new revenue model, clarify the value offering, and a refresh of their website to better manage their membership accounts and reduce their admin time.
Their board took our recommendation and passed a resolution to revise their membership model and pricing, justified through better articulation of their value. This stabilized annual funding and creates new opportunities to offer value to members.
Their new brand guide has increased consistency of brand identity across their online channels, and their new website makes better use of automation to reduce admin time and ensure memberships are retained.
